| Gyroscope |
|
For illustrating the principle of
gyroscope action and conservation of angular momentum. It
shows that the gyroscope will keep its axis of rotation to
retain any particular position in which it may be placed as
long as the speed of
rotation of the disc is maintained. |

| Hooke’s Law Apparatus |
|
To demonstrate Hooke’s Law and conducting
simple harmonic motion experiments. The apparatus consists
of a 12cm long scale that is mounted on a simple stand and
base, a spring with a weight hanger and attached pointer. |

|
| Young’s Modulus Apparatus |
|
Consists of a brass scale 10cm long with
vernier reading to 0.1mm and with V slide clamps. Includes
ceiling attachment for wire, 5m long wire and a tension
weight. |

| Young’s Modulus Apparatus,
Searle’s Pattern |
|
This apparatus is capable of greater
sensitivity and accuracy. It consists of two iron frames
connected by a link. The frames are fitted with self
centering chucks. An accuracy cut micrometer screw to read
to 0.01mm and main scale of 0-10mm is fitted in one frame.
One end of a sensitive spirit level is pivoted to one of the
frames and the other end rests on the point of a micrometer
screw fitted on the other frame. |

| Density Demonstration Set |
|
For demonstrating reciprocal density.
Comprises of six cylinders of different densities but all of
equal mass and cross sectional area. Set consists of one
each of lead, zinc, brass , copper, aluminum, iron. The
lengths are inversely proportional to their respective
densities. |
